How to receive alerts when things change

Listpoint has the capability to send email alerts to individuals automatically whenever a new version of a Code List, Context or Context Map is published. This enables users to track changes to objects they have an interest in. It can also be used to trigger an application instance to download a revised set of Code Lists when its Context is changed by the relevant maintenance team.

To receive such alerts the user must:

- a Code List that has changed status
- a Code List that was a copy of one that has been superseded
- a Context that has changed status
- a Context that was a copy of one that has been superseded
- a Context Map that has changed status
- a Context Map that was a copy of one that has been superseded
- a Context that references a Code List that has been superseded
- a Code List that is mapped to a Code List that has been superseded
- a Context that is the source or target of a Context Map that has been superseded
- a Context that references a Code List that is mapped to a Code List that has been superseded
- a Context Map that holds a Code Map that references a Code List that has been superseded
  • or be a member of a Team that has selected as a Favourite a Context that has changed status

An email alert is sent to all such users whenever a new Code List, Context or Context Map is published, see example below.
